This position is with the OHA Public Health Division, working with the State Emergency Registry of Volunteers in Oregon (SERV-OR) program. OHA is at the forefront of lowering and containing costs, improving quality and increasing access to health care in order to improve the lifelong health of Oregonians. SERV-OR is a database of licensed health care professionals who have registered to volunteer in response to Federal, State, and/or local emergencies. The registry allows these licensed volunteers to join state and local volunteer groups. Oregon needs a strong public health system to achieve better health and better care at lower costs, and SERV-OR is a vital tool in improving healthcare across Oregon.

This position is in Portland, which is Oregon’s cultural center, dense with independent movie theaters and art galleries. The exceptional public transit system makes it easy to get around the city without a car, no matter if you’re visiting a food cart or a public park.
