Mental Health Counselor

Provide integrated, short- and long-term behavioral health services on-site within the primary care clinic setting to patients of Falls Community Health. 

 

Graduation from an accredited college or university with a master’s degree in social work, counseling or other related field. Minimum two (2) years’ mental health experience in a clinical or hospital setting; or any such combination of education, experience, and training as may be acceptable to the hiring authority. 

Must hold or have ability to obtain within 90 days of hire a valid state of South Dakota license as a professional counselor (LPC-MH) or a clinical social worker (LCSW-PIP).  Note- clinical supervison for advanced licensure is not provided by the employer.

Dual licensure as an addiction counselor is desirable.
