Mental Health Therapist

SCHEDULE: 40 hours a week, schedule TBD; plus additional hours for staff meetings and supervision. However, this schedule may be adjusted according to the needs of the program.

WAGE/BENEFITS: $4,307.34 per month salary exempt. Janus offers an excellent benefits program including medical, dental, life & long-term disability insurance; EAP; 401(k) and paid time off (varied eligibility waiting periods apply). Voluntary optional coverage is also available.

SUMMARY: The Mental Health Therapist is responsible for providing individual family and group therapy to adolescent sexual offenders and their families and to youth who have been identified with potentially sexually aggressive behaviors. Duties include participation in the clinical team, assist in treatment planning, and implementation and record keeping for each youth and family served. Responsibilities also include participation in the day-to-day operations of the residential program and its activities and participates in rotational emergency back-up coverage to the program in conjunction with other identified staff.
