Part-time Clinical Supervisor

The Clinical Supervisor provides individual and group supervision to clinical staff and provides clinical consultation, oversight and training of direct care staff. As the Clinical Supervisor you will be responsible for treatment planning, the timely revision of treatment plans, and ensure families are engaged in the treatment of their child. The Clinical Supervisor has the possibility of having hybrid or remote work capabilities.
 
ABOUT VENTURA COUNTY CRISIS SERVICES
Seneca's Ventura County Crisis Services program offers a spectrum of behavioral health care crisis services to support youth and their families. These services provide safe refuge for young people who have experienced profound mental health needs including psychiatric evaluation or hospitalization. Services include crisis stabilization and short-term acute residential treatment, as well as transition and planning services to return youth to a setting in the community with stability.

Responsibilities

  • Provide weekly individual and group supervision. 
  • Utilize a culturally respectful and responsive lens in overseeing service delivery. 
  • Ensure that adequate supervision around improvement of job performance is provided in a supportive, constructive manner. 
  • Provide leadership for staff in creating a positive work environment that adheres to the values of the agency. 
  • Ensure that the program is run in a safe, therapeutic, and efficient manner. 
  • Partner with the Program Director and Program Assistant to ensure that all staff training needs are addressed. 
  • Review and co-sign assessments and treatment plans. 
  • Maintain accurate documentation and paperwork, including but not limited to time sheets, petty cash, and mileage. 

Qualifications

Required:
  • Master’s degree in human services, psychology, child and adolescent development, social work, or related field from an accredited college or university 
  • Registered with the California State Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) as a licensed LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW 
  • Own vehicle, Valid California driver's license and insurability with Seneca's automobile policy
  • TB test clearance, fingerprinting clearance, and any other state/federal licensing or certification requirements
  • Must show proof of Covid-19 vaccination and booster
Preferred:
  • Four years of experience working with children/youth and families with complex and enduring needs 
  • Experience implementing family-focused Wraparound services or another community-based service
  • Ability to train clinicians in assessments, hypothesis building, diagnosis, and treatment planning 

Schedule

  • Part-time
  • Mon - Fri; 20 hours per week
  • Flexibility required, possible remote work

  • Starting at $35.43 an hour. Actual salary dependent on creditable experience above the minimum qualification.
