Therapist - Kaiser Wrap Concord

As a Therapist on our team, you will provide individual and family therapy, develop safety plans with youth and families as needed, and collaborate with other team members to implement overall treatment and services for assigned clients. You will have the opportunity to intervene with the clients’ behavior management programs as needed; with limited documentation requirements, you will have more time to focus on providing much needed services for your clients.

Seneca Family of Agencies has been a leading Wraparound provider in California for over 20 years, and our success in enhancing youth safety, permanency, and well-being has garnered the attention of healthcare networks such as Kaiser Permanente. The Kaiser Wrap Program works with youth and families with acute mental health needs to stabilize these families providing services almost exclusively in the community: in families’ homes, schools, other community locations.

Responsibilities

  • Meet with clients on a weekly basis to provide individual therapy and can provide family therapy when appropriate/as needed.
  • Contribute to the development of the youth’s treatment plan in coordination with other team members.
  • Participate in the child and family team meeting process
  • Cultivate and maintain engagement and alignment with community members, Kaiser partners and other providers.
  • Chart mental health notes, assessments, treatment plans, outcome measures, incident reports, and other documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Participate in 24 hours on call support line rotation.
  • Participate in individual and group supervision.
  • Function as team clinical leader for respective caseload and uphold the principles of the wraparound program.

Qualifications

Required:
  • Master’s degree in psychology, counseling, or social work required
  • Must be eligible to register with the BBS
  • Own vehicle, California driver’s license and auto insurance
  • TB test clearance, fingerprinting clearance, and any other state/federal licensing or certification requirements
  • Must show proof of Covid-19 vaccination and booster required
  • Flexible schedule, willing to respond to crisis situations & be part of a rotating emergency pager system
Preferred:
  • Bilingual Spanish abilities
  • Good organizational and writing skills

Schedule

  • Full-time
  • Mon - Fri; 9AM - 5PM or 10AM - 6PM
  • Flexible schedule, plus on call rotation

Benefits

  • Starting at $67,000 - $81,000 annually. Actual salary dependent on creditable experience above the minimum qualification.
